Data Storage and Security
Local Storage
By default, all your financial data is stored locally on your device using industry-standard encryption. This data is protected by your device's security features, including biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID) if enabled.
Cloud Storage
If you enable cloud synchronization, your encrypted financial data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure powered by Firebase. We use:
- End-to-end encryption for data in transit (TLS/SSL)
- Encryption at rest for stored data
- Secure authentication mechanisms
- Regular security audits and monitoring
- Compliance with industry-standard security practices
Biometric Data
If you enable Face ID or Touch ID authentication, biometric verification is handled entirely by your device's operating system. We do not collect, store, or have access to your biometric data.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal or financial information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- With your explicit consent
- To comply with legal obligations or valid legal requests
- To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users

- Firebase Authentication (for account management)
- Firebase Firestore (for cloud data storage)
- Apple Sign-In and Google Sign-In (for authentication)

Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal and financial data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain information.
Children's Privacy
Savr is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
International Data Transfers
If you access Savr from outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be transferred across international borders. By using the App, you consent to such transfers. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information.
Do Not Track
We do not track users across third-party websites or services. However, we do collect usage analytics within the App to improve functionality and user experience.
